When you arrive at CCO enter the parking lot through the easternmost entrance. Traffic controllers and cones will direct you into one of two lanes, and you’ll drive along the east side of the building, around the back, and eventually, you’ll be directed into a loading station.
TIME:
Arrive at 9:00 and line up along with the other delivery drivers. There will be two lanes and four loading stations, so it will go quickly.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Before you ever arrive on Saturday, please ensure that you have PLENTY of space available in your vehicle. Once you are in line here, there will not be time to clean out your trunk or lower that row of seats, so please do that before you arrive.
You will stay in your vehicle the entire time. While in line you will be given your route sheet; at that time, you will need to provide your name and phone number in case we need to get in touch with you for some reason after you leave.
If you have trouble finding an address you can call the number listed on the route sheet for assistance.
Each delivery address will also have a phone number with it. Please call the number of the person you are delivering to as you prepare to go to their house, as a courtesy (entering *67 before the phone number will keep your number anonymous). If no one answers, leave a message stating you are a volunteer of Crosslines getting ready to deliver their Thanksgiving turkey in the next few minutes, then please still try delivering to their house. If no one is home, do not leave food unattended – please bring their food back to CCO after you’ve completed the rest of your route and let us know the name/address that was undeliverable.
