INSTRUCTIONS FOR DECEMBER 19, 2026
When you arrive at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds:
- Enter through Gate #7. This is located on the west side of the Fairgrounds on Zoo Park Rd/Smith St.
- Park in the large lot west of the E-plex. Follow the map below, look for the Volunteer Banner, and enter through the north entrance of Center Hall. It’s a little bit of a walk. (There is handicap parking available – let the parking attendant know. If you need a ride up to the door please email [email protected] for arrangements)

SCHEDULE
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Volunteer Schedule
- 8:00 am – 8:20 am – Arrival and check-in: We will have coffee and water, snacks, and donuts.
- 8:30 am – Welcome and orientation: You will receive specific instructions for your job.
- 8:45 am – Doors open for our guests
- 1:00 pm – Event ends and clean up begins: Thank you for helping! Enjoy the rest of your Christmas season.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Toy Store Shopper Helper – You will help guests get all the toys they are eligible for and assist them in choosing items. This job is inside, but you will be on your feet. Please wear comfortable shoes. Toy shopper helpers must be at least 14 years of age. If you are bringing someone younger than that, please reply to this email and we will re-assign you to a different position.
Toy Table Worker – You will make sure the toy tables are well-stocked throughout the day and help guests find items. This job is inside, but you will be on your feet. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Toy Carryout – You will be carrying items out to our guests’ vehicles. Some items may be heavy or bulky. You will do lots of walking and will be both inside and outside during the duration of your shift. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the cold weather, gloves, hat, scarf, coat, etc. Some volunteers have found that bringing a wagon makes transporting the toys a little easier.
