Make the Holidays Brighter
Each Christmas, Crosslines Community Outreach helps local families experience the joy and dignity of the holiday season through programs designed to meet different needs. Ambassadors for Children Christmas helps make the season special for children and youth in foster care, the Crosslines Toy Store gives parents the opportunity to choose gifts for their children, and our Turkey Distribution helps families put a holiday meal on the table. Together, these programs ensure our neighbors can celebrate Christmas with warmth, food, gifts and hope.
Donations can be dropped off at Crosslines Community Outreach at 3055 E. Division St. at the bay doors on the northeast corner of the building 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday or 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday. Please call ahead to schedule a drop-off time at 417-862-3586.
Ambassadors for Children Christmas
Make Christmas special for children and youth in foster care by helping provide thoughtfully selected gifts. Your support reminds each child that they are known, valued and cared for during a season that can be especially difficult.
Coats for Kids
Help local children stay warm throughout the winter by providing new coats in a variety of sizes. Your partnership ensures children can head to school, play outside and face cold Missouri days with comfort and confidence.
Crosslines Toy Store
Stock the Crosslines Toy Store with new, unwrapped gifts so parents and caregivers experiencing financial hardship can select presents for their children. This outreach provides Christmas joy while allowing families to choose gifts that are right for their children.
Share Your Christmas
Share Your Christmas by helping a local family facing hardship this holiday season. Through Crosslines’ annual partnership with the Springfield News-Leader, you can read families’ stories and provide requested gifts, household essentials or financial support to meet their most pressing needs.
Turkey Distribution
Help local families gather around the table for a holiday meal by providing turkeys and seasonal food. Each contribution helps relieve pressure on a household budget and makes a meaningful celebration possible.
