At the heart of Crosslines Community Outreach (CCO) is a powerful, often unseen force: volunteers. Nearly 1,000 individuals generously give their time, energy, and compassion each year to help carry out CCO’s mission of service. In 2024, they contributed over 56,000 hours of volunteer work equivalent to more than $1.8 million in donated time.
But the true value of volunteering isn’t just measured in dollars or hours. It’s measured in meals delivered, families supported, dignity restored and hope renewed. Whether they’re sorting food, packing essentials, reading with children, or lending a hand wherever needed, CCO volunteers are an essential part of the story. They don’t just show up—they show love in action.
This month, we gathered our amazing Crosslines Community Outreach volunteers for a well-deserved celebration, and every bit of it was earned. These dedicated individuals don’t seek recognition; they show up for their neighbors, their community, and the mission we share. From sorting food and stocking shelves to delivering meals with care, their impact is felt every day. At the event, we shared a meal, handed out our new t-shirts (featuring our fresh new logo!), celebrated a few standout volunteers with special awards, and had some fun with a game-themed raffle—because our volunteers bet on us, and we never take that for granted.
